A New Site is Coming!

I have a passion.  I've had a passion, a burning passion for many, many years...that passion is life coaching, guiding woman in the direction they want their dreams to go.  Because I need to follow this passion, this blog isn't going to take me to the place that will feed that passion.  I am busily working on my new site, which will give women all over the world the opportunity to connect with me for coaching sessions online.  I am also working on a one-of-a-kind coaching insert that will fit in Traveler Notebooks - filled with my exercises you can do to help guide you in fulfilling your own dreams and goals.  Keep your eyes open for the announcement on here that the new site - Organize Your Soul - is live.

Your Sacred Garment.....

On our bodies is written the story of our lives and our survival. Whether you are skinny or thick, scars, stretch marks, parts missing, surgeries had, diseases fought and conquered, your body has carried you through it all majestically and without complaint. We all look at our bodies and find something wrong with them - cellulite, thin arms or legs, chubby legs, saggy breasts - so what. Where is the standard of beauty written in the universe? It has been superficially created in the media to make money.

Your body is a glorious testament to your survival and victory in life, to the gift of life the universe has granted you. To hate and vilify the sacred garment you wear each day is to do a fundamental disservice to who you are as a human. Love yourself, treasure each and every beautiful inch you are. Don't listen to those who say you aren't good enough...because you are.

Paper Weights and Uses

The Paper Mill Store has a nice chart on their site for understanding paper weight.  You can find it here.  I generally use a 65 lb cardstock to cover inserts.  If I have an insert that will be in my TN a long time I will either go with an even heavier weight or I will laminate the cover.  Hope this helps end some confusion!

I have to Apologize...

I have been terribly busy at work the last couple weeks, it isn't going to get any better until the end of April.  I'm putting together a class called A Gathering on Resiliency and the Art of Self Care.  This class is for community professionals who work with people in crisis or who have been traumatized.  The class is designed to help them recharge and re-vitalize their lives so they can do the work they love to do.  It is a six hour class and is taking a lot to put together...so of course my poor little blog is suffering.  If you started following don't give up the ship, I'm working hard, with the help of my TN's to find that balance of working on both the class and my blog....I have SO many ideas for posts that everyone is going to love.  Congratulations again to Carolynn on winning the giveaway.  Your prize will go out in the mail today. Next weekend I will announce details of the next giveaway.  XOXOXOX  Julie
